Android November 2026 Security Updates

Google has released security updates for Android for November 2026, addressing over 200 vulnerabilities, including more than two dozen critical-severity issues. The updates are split into two patch levels: 2026-11-01 and 2026-11-05. The most severe vulnerability is CVE-2026-58868, a critical-severity remote code execution (RCE) flaw in the Android Framework that does not require user interaction or elevated privileges. Additional critical vulnerabilities were addressed in System, Bluetooth, pKVM, HID, and various third-party vendor components.

Impact

Successful exploitation of the identified vulnerabilities, particularly CVE-2026-58868, could allow an unauthenticated attacker to achieve remote code execution on affected Android devices without requiring user interaction.
